Maria told me yesterday she was coming to the store to pick up some more threads, and bringing her friend Gerri, whom I’ve also known for a long time. I told her to bring a check as I was a little tentative about using the new credit card terminal. Then, I had a surge of self-confidence, but Maria wanted to pay by check. Phew!
So, I still haven’t cleared a purchase via CC.
Maria was picking up some threads I ordered for her Rebecca Wood stockings. She is stitching two for her best friend’s twin grandsons. She is almost finished with the first stocking already! I took some pics. All of Santa’s coat and the gazillion french knots in the coat trim is done as is the tree and some presents. Maria works really fast!
While Gerri and Maria were there, two other ladies came in to scope out the store for someone who reads my blog.
Gerri brought me a lovely plant for the store. That was so nice, thanks so much Gerrie! I absolutely love this picture of Gerri and Maria, thanks for letting me take the snap!
The pic of the top left canvas is sold, and I am posting it here just so Barb and I are talking about the same canvas. Barb is purchasing some canvases so I can practice my new card swiping techniques on this state-of- the- art terminal I just received. Thanks, Barb.
And thanks for emailing me the link to the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge. My hero!
