Pinterest infringement notice

Standard

After some careful thought, I filed a copyright infringement notice with Pinterest.

This is not about money.   Quite frankly, I’m happy that Mary Agnes (and of course Needlepoint Land) got the publicity (though I would have appreciated being asked first)!

Instead, I filed this to determine if Pinterest respects the right of copyright holders, such as needlepoint designers — whose living depends on this sort of thing — to file a takedown notice.

Let’s see what happens.

If they take down the image, then perhaps designers can follow the same simple step I took — should they choose to do so.
