Racks and bolts

Patrick, the Locksmith

Had new locks put in today, and secured the back door with an industrial strength dead bolt.  That’s Patrick the locksmith working on it.

Wooden Rack

Also… the canvas floor racks came in today.  Can’t wait to unpack them at the store!

Really good news on the installer front.  More on that next week.  But it turns out one does not buy the Lowe’s pegboard, which are suitable for DIY garage projects.  We have already been advised as to bettter solution by an installer whose work is impeccable. Meeting him next week, and then we will make a decision on that front.

Finally, Amazon did email back, but it was this semi incomprehensible canned email where they seemed to think I am a manufacturer or distributor who receives private label goods from a manufacturer.  Guess getting a UPC waiver is like pulling teeth.

They suggested instead some compromise but don’t seem to grasp (or want to grasp) that hand painted needlepoint canvases are not machine made, but are beautiful objects that are designed by artists, and hand painted by artisans — there is no UPC ever involved, to my knowledge. We are not factory workers pumping out widgets here.

I certainly hope I am going to be able to clear this up with Jeff, and not get a machine to answer me back.

Over and out!
